Legal
Terms & Conditions
These terms govern every engagement between MT World (operating as MT World, registration number 68593545) and the client commissioning services.
Effective January 2025
01
Definitions
"Studio", "we", "us" and "our" refer to MT World. "Client", "you" and "your" refer to the natural person or legal entity commissioning services. "Services" means the production, post-production, e-commerce, media marketing or IT development work described in a written quote.
02
Scope of work
Each engagement begins with a written quote describing deliverables, schedule, fees and assumptions. Work commences only after the quote is signed and any required deposit has been received.
Changes to scope (additional shoot days, revisions beyond the included rounds, new deliverables) are quoted separately as a change order and added to the final invoice.
03
Fees & payment
Unless agreed otherwise, fees are invoiced 50% on signature and 50% on delivery. Retainers are invoiced monthly in advance. Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date. Late payments accrue interest at 1.5% per month.
Quotes are exclusive of VAT, third-party licensing (music, stock, fonts), travel and accommodation, and any hosting, domain or platform fees, which are passed through at cost.
04
Intellectual property
Upon receipt of full payment, the Client receives a worldwide, perpetual licence to use the final deliverables for the purposes set out in the brief. The Studio retains ownership of project files, raw footage, source code, working documents and methodology.
Unless explicitly agreed in writing, the Studio may include deliverables in its portfolio and case studies.
05
Client responsibilities
The Client agrees to provide timely feedback, accurate brand assets, necessary approvals, and to ensure that any material supplied to the Studio (logos, copy, imagery) does not infringe any third-party rights. Delays caused by missing approvals or assets may shift delivery dates and trigger additional fees.
06
Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public information shared during the engagement. NDAs may be signed on request prior to discovery.
07
Liability
The Studio's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of an engagement is limited to the fees paid for the project giving rise to the claim. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit, revenue or data.
08
Termination
Either party may terminate an engagement with 14 days' written notice. Upon termination, the Client pays for all work performed up to the termination date, plus any non-cancellable third-party costs already committed.
09
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Slovenia. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively by the competent courts of Slovenia.
